Maple Island Quilts makes some wonderful patterns and when I saw this one, I thought it is a good use of some fun focus fabrics. This quilt can be made with two different size focus blocks. My sample has the mini block in it. In the larger block quilt, it will have the focus fabric at 8"x12" rectangle once in the quilt. I think the mini block is the perfect size for a child's quilt. The best part is we will be making the block by using strip sets so it should go fast and be fun.
